At Vondom, we understand that design goes beyond aesthetics; it’s about creating products that respect and preserve our environment. This World Environment Day, we want to share our strong commitment to sustainability and how, through our practices and products, we are contributing to a greener future.
Green energy for a sustainable future
Our commitment to the environment starts at the very heart of our production. We are proud to say that all the electricity we use comes from renewable sources, thanks to our installation of 330 KW of self-consumption photovoltaic solar panels.
These panels produce 476,666 KWh per year, which allows us to save CO2 emissions of 302,965 kg per year. This saving is equivalent to planting 20,000 trees each year, a significant contribution to environmental protection.
An effort that allows us, from 2022, to feed our production in a sustainable way, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a cleaner and greener future.
Sustainable and responsible materials
At Vondom, we understand that the choice of materials is crucial to sustainability. That’s why in 2022 we are incorporating new materials such as teak wood, legally imported with Indonesian Legal Wood certification, and aluminium, which not only offer durability and style, but also minimise environmental impact.
In addition, we are proud to integrate recycled polypropylene into our Revolution collections, giving new life to these materials. Adding to the importance of our polyethylene being 100% recyclable, this ensures that every piece of our furniture can be reused, thus closing the cycle of sustainability.
Training and accountability: Agenda 2030
We are dedicated to training our suppliers to ensure that everyone shares our vision of sustainability. We actively participate in the Sustainable Supplier Training Programme, a project aligned with Agenda 2030 and the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.
This programme focuses on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and corporate sustainability, and is aimed at small and medium-sized suppliers that collaborate with large companies committed to this initiative in Spain.

Our focus is not only on the sustainability of materials and energy. Every Vondom design is created with longevity and timeless aesthetics in mind, ensuring that our products not only beautify outdoor spaces, but also stand the test of time.
